2. Return Window & Eligibility
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for your item. To be eligible for a return, your product must meet the following strict conditions:
Pristine Condition: The item must be in its original, unused state. There must be no ink stains, pen marks, deep scratches, or structural damage.
Original Packaging: All items must be returned in their original retail packaging, including all protective inserts, internal foam, and bubble wrap.
Structural Integrity: For mesh, wire, or wooden organizers, the product must be packaged securely to prevent structural bending, dents, or cracks during the return transit.
Labels & Accessories: All original tags, labels, and included accessories (such as dividers or removable drawers) must be present.
3. How to Initiate a Return
CRITICAL WARNING: Please DO NOT send your purchase back to the shipping address listed on your package or to our administrative address without prior authorization. This will result in a failed delivery and a denial of your refund.
To start a return:
Email us at [email protected] with your Order Number and a clear explanation of the reason for the return.
If the item is damaged or defective, please attach clear photos of the product and the exterior shipping box.
Once approved, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide you with the exact shipping address for our inspection center.
4. Return Shipping Costs
Defective or Damaged Items: If you receive an item that is broken, structurally compromised, or different from what you ordered, Pencilboxhome will take full responsibility. We will provide a pre-paid return shipping label at no cost to you.
Customer Remorse (Change of Mind): If the return is due to a change of mind, selection of the wrong size/color, or personal preference, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
5. Restocking Fees
We believe in transparent pricing. Pencilboxhome charges $0.00 Restocking Fees. You will not be penalized for the cost of re-shelving or processing your eligible return.
6. Refund Process & Timeline
Inspection: Once your return package is received at our facility, our quality control team will inspect it within 3 business days.
Notification: We will notify you via email whether your refund has been approved or rejected based on the condition of the item.
Credit: If approved, your refund will be processed immediately. The credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
Bank Processing: Please note that most banks and credit card issuers require 5-10 business days to reflect the funds in your account after we have initiated the refund.
7. Order Cancellations & Fraud Prevention
Cancellations: You may request an order cancellation within 12 hours of purchase. Once this window has passed, the order has likely entered our logistics flow and cannot be halted. In such cases, you must receive the item and follow the standard return process.
Fraud Prevention: We reserve the right to refuse a refund if a return shows signs of fraudulent activity, such as returning a used item, an item not belonging to our store, or a package intentionally damaged by the sender.
